Archika Khurana of The Times of India wrote "All said, Yodha’s action is thrilling, but it does not really take your imagination to the flight."

Prannay Pathak of Hindustan Times wrote "Yodha’s corny and complacent co-opting of it and surface-level interpretation of the Kashmir issue and terrorism, render this film with nothing new to offer."

Bollywood Hungama critic gave 3/5 and wrote "Yodha is not the usual hijack film and features a fine performance; however, it is quite technical and confusing."
